By Bus From Boston:
From Haymarket Square, take #450 or #455 to downtown Salem.
By Commuter Rail From Boston:
From North Station, take the Rockport/Ipswich Line (a 30 minute ride). At the Salem Depot, exit up the stairs. It's a 5* minute walk to the Visitor Center.

From Logan Airport:
Exit Airport, watch for signs that say Route 1A North. Follow Route 1A North and at the Salem line, follow the tricolor signs. (Approx. 25-minute drive)
From Maine/New Hampshire:
Take I-95 South (Maine) or I-93 South (New Hampshire) to the Route 128 North Exit. From Route 128 take Exit 25A onto Route 114 East and follow 114 East. At the Salem line, follow the tricolor signs.
From Boston:
Follow Route I-95 North (which is also 128 North). After Exit 44 the highway splits, stay on Route 128 North which bears to the left. The exit numbers then drop into the twenties. Take Exit 25A onto Route 114 East and follow 114 East. At the Salem line, follow the tricolor signs. (Approx. 30 minute drive)
From the Mass Turnpike:
Take Route 90 East to Route 128 North (which is also 1-95 North). After Exit 44 the highway splits, stay on Route 128 North which bears to the left. The exit numbers then drop into the twenties. Take Exit 25A onto Route 114 East and follow 114 East. Follow the tricolor signs from all Salem entry points. (Approx. 45 minutes from the Mass Pike Exit.)
From New York City:
Take Route 95 North as far as New Haven Connecticut. Once in New Haven, take 91 North to Hartford. In Hartford, pick up Route 84 East. Follow Route 84 East to Route 90 East (Mass Turnpike). Follow Mass Pike East to the Route 128 Exit. Follow Route 95 North (which is also 128 North). After Exit 44 the highway splits, stay on Route 128 North which bears to the left. The exit numbers then drop into the twenties. Take Exit 25A onto Route 114 East and follow 114 East. At the Salem line, follow the tricolor signs. (Approximately 4 1/2 hours.)
