Recently, Finch & Rose of Beverly, MA have been chosen to write an architectural history report of the Witch House. They will be examining and researching the house in order to find out more about the history of this Salem landmark. This project is funded in part by a grant from the Essex National Heritage Commission.
Spring Colonial Days
Monday, April 16, 2007 from 12:30-4:00 p.m.
The Witch House Program Series hosts a special event for children and adults during the April school vacation week. On Monday, April 16, families can tour the Witch House to learn about the 17th century and colonial Salem. Reenactors will demonstrate colonial medicine and daily chores such as spinning wool. Additional activities include colonial games, trying on a colonial costume, and other period crafts. Discounted admission for Salem residents. Please call (978) 744-8815 for more information.
Thursday-Sunday, April 19-22 from 12:00-4:00 p.m.
The Witch House will be open for tours during the April school vacation week, Thursday through Sunday. Guided tours are offered at 1, 2, and 3 p.m.

Admission to the Witch House is FREE between 10 am and 3 p.m. on the first Saturday in June. Visit the Witch House and learn about its 17th century architecture, lifestyles of the colonists, and the Corwin family who lived here for over 175 years! Please note the Witch House charges admission except for the above hours on June 2.
Summer Lecture on Colonial Music
Saturday June16 at 3 p.m.
Join the Witch House and the Salem Athenaeum for a musical extravaganza! Favorite local folk musician Larry Young, of Poor Richard's Penny and Beggar Boys will present a lecture and performance of colonial and Puritan era music. Audience members will learn a simple 17th century dance! Lecture is FREE and will be held at the Salem Athenaeum, 337 Essex St. in Salem.
Hearth and Field Day
Saturday, July 21 from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.
Colonel Bailey's Second Massachusetts Regiment of reenactors will visit the Witch House in July and demonstrate aspects of colonial daily life. Come enjoy these demonstrations and participate in other colonial games and crafts. This event is FREE to the public.
Autumn Colonial Days

Visit the Witch House and enjoy a day of living history! Costumed living history presenters will portray Puritan colonists from Salem and Boston. Enjoy your tour of the Witch House as you learn about life in the 17th century, the architecture of this 17th century house, and the witchcraft trials of 1692.
Eerie Evenings at the Witch House

Six nights of eerie tales in the ancient Witch House of Salem, a 17th-century mansion that was once the home of Witchcraft Trials judge Jonathan Corwin. "Eerie Evenings at the Witch House" continues a nineteen-year tradition of live storytelling, featuring costumed actors, startling new stories, and authentic settings.
